Sean enjoys photographing weddings and his sensibility for creating simple, stylish and contemporary images has resulted in a wide and diverse portfolio of wedding commissions. Sean considers himself a documentary artist, capturing the details that make your wedding yours. Sean has worked on traditional white weddings, alternative humanist and retro style weddings, and was commissioned to photograph a dual Indian wedding in The Sage, Gateshead, one of the biggest North East weddings of the year.
Sean was recently commissioned to photograph the retro and vintage wedding for a roadie of the rock band The Killers. Whether traditional or modern, Sean enjoys being a part of your unique experience, and finding ways to capture that.
Sean will work with you prior to your day to ensure the best results - so he can be efficient and discrete and capture the best images possible. Labelled a digital story teller, Sean never leaves a wedding until he knows the entire narrative is covered, from morning until night. Sean has found that after the first dance the wedding party start to relax and that this is a real golden hour for photographs, in which the real personalities of people start to show.
Sean understands that your wedding photography requirements may not fit into one of the prescribed packages. The star system is used purely to provide a framework from which tailored, bespoke packages can be devised according to your specific requirements. You may only require the photographer to attend and photograph your reception; whatever your budget or need we can make it work for you. Please just contact Sean for a meeting to discuss your requirements.
A wedding so well planned to have it all ... even the sun made it out! An aeroplane, turtle doves and a harpist - I managed to capture every detail of this perfect day.
Andrew and Becky were blessed with a lovely day at Mansion House in Newcastle. A lovely, small and perfectly formed wedding with lots of fun, energy and a bunch of really good people ... interesting dancing too!
Late Spring and a carpet of bluebells awaited this relaxed couple. Although it threatened to rain all day the sun came out for its golden hour and we managed to capture some great images in the grounds of Otterburn Hall.
People came from the other side of the world for this wedding at All Saints Church, Rothbury. We got some of the best wedding shots at the back of the White Swan Hotel in Alnwick underneath the lone willow tree and managed to stop enroute at the proposal spot.
New York, New York! I met Katie and Dan in a cool little bar in Brooklyn & then we walked around Greenpoint: the docks and the graffitti made for some great backdrops. The light was amazing...
The sun shone on an incredibly windy day for this shoot at the Gateshead Millenium Bridge. The bridge was a special place for the couple as it is the spot where Abraham proposed!
This photograph was taken at a wedding Sean shot a few months ago at the Baltic Art Gallery in Gateshead. It has gone down a storm(trooper) at Sky News. Read the article at here.
